All of us are designed for greatness. The opportunity each of us are given once we are born is limitless. The saddest thing is most of us are raised by traditional families who start limiting those opportunities. They say things like, “You shouldn’t waste your time with that. You need to study to become a doctor. They make better money.” Or, “Why would you want to do that? You should work toward something more achievable.”

Eventually we all start to chase the same things. Good grades in high school to get into a better than average college. Graduate in the top 15% of the class to get hired at a mediocre company that can provided some comfort and security until you are 60 years old. Retire somewhere warm and finally start living a free life…

Is there something wrong here? Studying hard and working to be the best in school is not a bad thing. However, don’t let it narrow your vision. You don’t have to fit into their boxed definition. There are so many ways to impact the world today. There is no reason you cannot break the mold and do the things you really want to do.

Figure Out Your Life Purpose

I challenge you: take an hour to figure out what you want to achieve in your lifetime. There are no boundaries. Forget what you were told growing up. What makes you happy? How can you help others? What is great about what you are doing? These questions will help you lay the blueprints to your life purpose.

“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live.” – Norman Cousins

Your belief will increase once you start to see what you truly want in life. Your purpose is something that takes time to create. Start creating it today; you never know what comes with tomorrow. Once you have your purpose figured out keep in mind It may need some tweaking along the way so sit down and look it over every 90 days.

Start To Create Massive Action

Once you put in the time to really narrow down what you want in life, you will need to start creating action. Here is another deal breaker for most people today: either you are unable to perform the work needed to achieve your life’s purpose or you have never built yourself up the right way to want to start the work. I honestly believe that whoever you are, if you set your mind to it, you can capture your dreams.

“If your mind can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it.” – Napoleon Hill

The question is: how do I start producing the action necessary to achieve my life purpose? It is all about your focus. If your days are jumbled together with no decisive plan, the amount of action you create will have no impact. So a few points that are crucial to anyone’s success:

  1. Follow the Pareto principle, or better known as the 80/20 rule, which will help you figure out what you should spend your time on. 2. Look at your week and schedule in those blocks of time for the most important actions. 3. List the top things you need to get done that day and don’t finish the day until those are done. All other things can wait.

Identify Your Team Players

You will get in the right groove in time. When this happens, your workload is going to increase significantly. How do you start to manage all of the calls, emails, conferences, meetings, negotiations, family time, or even your personal time? This will be a little more difficult than the time you were picked to be team captain in high school and got to choose your teammates. You will need to find trustworthy people who believe in your cause!

I would suggest looking into an attorney for any kind of legal issues and an accountant who you can trust with your hard earned money. These are basic essential people to find on your journey. It really depends on who you are. We all have different responsibilities and different needs. Your time is important, so outsource the things that you are too expensive to do. You may need a cook to make your food, an assistant to schedule meetings and take calls, or even a maid to get the house cleaned.

“Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

These are a few examples of the people you might need on your success journey. What about potential business partners? You better learn quickly who the right and wrong people are to do business with. Some of the ways you will know is how they make their first impression, how they communicate, or how they dress. If you feel at all uncomfortable with that person, I recommend you avoid doing business with them. There is nothing worse than doing business with a selfish person who is in love with money more than people.

Help Others Along The Way

Lastly, one of the most powerful things you can do on this planet is help other human beings achieve a state of importance or happiness. Pass your good habits on to others. Help people within your community by donating your money, time and resources to help those who are less fortunate. Your success will help as many people as you let it.

Start helping other people reach their life purpose. Duplicate yourself through others. Your values will transfer to those you are teaching and they will strive to help others too! The process of duplication is so important so never forget to teach others how you turned your dreams into a reality.
